A very long day

'Trains & boats & planes go passing by...' Goes the song I believe. My 12 hours of travelling today was minus the boats - and with lots of waiting around, but finally I've arrived safely back in the UK.

So now I must get this blog up & running by starting with some favourite photos. My task for tomorrow I think.

One more day here in the beautiful countryside & then I must return. A full day of travelling will give me pause for thought.

An incredibly windy night

I can't sleep.

So, the party is over & slowly we must re-adjust. The snow has come & gone & a strong wind now persists. Some of our Swedish family have already returned to the UK. I shall follow shortly.
The new Nikon camera awaits my focus! Very exciting.

It's so noisy tonight - but I must sleep!
